Those 20 team leagues have a conference championship game/playoff game and it works.

80 is a nice number and scheduling models work well with it. 4 pods of 5.

The Pac12, B1G, SEC and Big12/ACC will have to work together on this thing. The money's going to leap into the next stratosphere and politicians will encourage them to take on a handful of extra schools each. I've put my list of 80 out there before and the map doesn't look too bad for the SEC and B1G. The B1G might have to take Iowa St. and/or UCONN/Army. And the SEC taking TCU, Baylor, KSU and OSU doesn't look to bad. Those are solid fball programs.

The ACC could/would be forced to take WVU and ND would be added too. So what's a couple more dead weight schools matter?

Slim pickings for the Pac12, but they could add new states with New Mexico and UNLV. Air Force and Texas Tech too. Boise?
